Interviews
How can the boundary between art and design lead us to question our practice as graphic designers? I compiled this research report by interviewing designers, artists, art critics... Since it is subjective, there are no right or wrong answers. It’s all a matter of opinion. That is why Frontière(s) encourages discussion and debate.

TEAM
La Clique's visual identity was designed as a social connection and encounter through engagement. It invites people to become part of the identity, encouraging them to fully engage with the association and its values.
Concept
CLIENT

La Clique is a coalition of four organizations dedicated to fostering inclusion, with a particular focus on supporting newcomers and building more connected, cohesive communities.
The association's visual identity therefore centers on solidarity and political engagement, aiming to (re)unite people and create a space accessible to all, where everyone feels welcome and included.

One of the key challenges was reaching as many people as possible, so the identity's iconography was designed to be participatory. The illustrations are deliberately childlike and easy to reproduce, encouraging participants to take part in shaping the identity themselves.
Visually, the identity draws inspiration from the graphic language of the Grapus collective and grassroots activist movements: expressive handwritten typography, vibrant primary colors, textures, and hand-drawn illustrations.
